Essential Functions

• Build, scale, and maintain the Engi blockchain using Substrate, Rust, WASM, and more at the frontier of layer-1+2 innovations for software construction
• Ship and monitor stable, performant, and secure public nodes and CLIs the provide consensus, compute, and storage to the Engi network
• Grow an all-star cryptotechnology team over time and cultivate your OS community to support the ever-expanding capabilities and demands of the Engi ecosystem and Engi DAO

Your Qualifications

• Demonstrable excellence in software engineering and creative thinking required
• Advanced blockchain technology programming experience including expertise with Substrate, Rust, smart contacts (ink!, Solidity, Solana), C++, and cryptography
• Fluency in building blockchain-connected clients using technologies such as Chrome Extensions, Web3JS, multi-factor authentication, etc.
• Understanding of containerization and cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Docker Compose, AWS, Digital Ocean, Vagrant, serverless, and Kubernetes
• Comfortability nurturing open-source software including, community outreach, writing documentation, triaging bugs and PRs, evangelization, etc.
• A passion for "leading from the front," able to both build and delegate with speed and quality
• An obsession with cryptography, security, risk comprehension, detail, and building mathematically honest blockchains that users love
• 5+ years of experience with technologies above on fast-paced, dynamic, and impactful software teams capable of integrating project scoping and product feedback cycles with design and research teams to ship high-quality experiences efficiently
