The Ecosystem Lead Asia is a pivotal role in the Growth Department at our organization. This dynamic position touches on all points of the Flare ecosystem, from events and PR to relations with key partners and market expansion.
The primary responsibility of this role is to build, nurture, and manage relationships with different stakeholders in Asia while aligning with our growth strategy.
Reporting To: Head of Growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Take the lead in strategy and execution of Flare’s business development goals in Asia. Sourcing and connecting to development teams, protocol users and exchange partners in the region.
- Partner Relations & Coordination: Cultivate relationships with non-network partners including exchanges. Ensure streamlined communication and coordination with these entities to promote mutual growth.
- Market Development: Spearhead the development of new exchange markets, particularly in regions like Korea and Japan. Understand the nuances of these markets, establish connections, and ensure our presence is solidified. Pioneer, Manage and deploy Flare’s regional ambassador program.
- Event Attendance & Planning: Take the lead in identifying key industry events, planning our participation, representing the company, and ensuring seamless logistics and representation. Manage our events and communities teams to deploy resources for maximum impact.
- Public Relations: Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and execute PR campaigns. Serve as a primary contact for media inquiries and coordinate interviews, press releases, and other PR activities.
- Whale Relationship Building: Engage with the large FLR holders in the region, fostering relationships and understanding their unique needs and contributions to our ecosystem. Strategize and execute campaigns to rally the community around Flare network products and partnerships.
- Validator/FTSO/Data Provider Relations: Work closely with the community managers to nurture and manage relationships with validators, FTSO providers, and data providers. Strategize and onboard additional community managers to expand the community.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, partner relations, and market development.
- Strong network in the blockchain and crypto ecosystem, especially within targeted regions like Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Japan.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams like marketing and community management.
- An understanding of the degen community and its dynamics.
- Must speak Mandarin.
