Staff Frontend Engineer

Douro Labs is building Pyth Network, a decentralized blockchain oracle delivering high-frequency low-latency market data to DeFi applications. The mission is to create an open market data ecosystem by incentivizing owners to directly contribute their data. The network currently counts many top trading firms and market makers as contributors.

We are seeking talented frontend engineers to develop web3 applications that interact with the network. Develop seamless frontend applications for users to interact with decentralized governance. Build powerful and crisp visualizations of data flowing through the system for end users. Work with design, engineering, and product to make pixel-perfect web experiences.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the ideation, creation, and development of frontend applications -- such as staking, administration, and governance -- interacting with Pyth Network.
• Work alongside business development, sales, design, and engineering teams to ensure these applications are serving user needs.
• Elevate our team by mentoring junior engineers and setting a high standard in software design and documentation.
• Connect with the developer community to understand their requirements, and craft web tools tailored to them.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 4 years of frontend engineering experience, ideally developing a major consumer-facing web application.
• Deep familiarity with Typescript and React.
• A zest for fast-paced, startup-like environments, adapting swiftly to the ever-changing DeFi market.
• Exceptional technical communication skills for diverse interactions within and outside the team.
• Ability to nurture engineers of varying skill levels.
• Willingness to manage periodic on-call responsibilities.
