Degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field
7+ years of hands-on full-stack programming experience using Java, JavaScript, Scala, or Python
Experience working with big-data stack technologies, including (but not limited to) Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Aerospike, and DynamoDB
Understanding of database fundamentals and knowledge of MySQL
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Graphite, Grafana, and Docker
Knowledge of live streaming, audio or video distribution platforms, HLS, and/or DASH protocols
Experience in cloud systems, preferably AWS
Experience in building software applications

Experience with distributed services using Docker containers and Kubernetes
Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Golang
Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and associated testing frameworks
