Since it's been a while since they've packed so many features into a single major release, the community appears to be excited and looking forward to this version 14 of Angular.
Angular 14 was launched in June 2022 and has several new features that will help to ease code complexity, make it much more type-safe, eliminate unnecessary code size, and be more diligent about raising errors and warnings if anything bad occurs in templates.
These are the new features:
- 1 # Standalone Components
- 2 # Forms are more typesafe now.
- 3 # Banana in a box [()] error catching in template
- 4# A new way to inject services with the inject () method
Angular's inject method lets us get a token reference from the injector that is presently running. However, only service and factory providers might be called in. The inject function may now be called from inside components, directives, and pipes in Angular 14. New options and possibilities open up as a result. Angular's dependency injection allows us to build functions that can be reused. An Angular 14 inject function will radically change how we use services in our applications. We might use it for a variety of purposes.
