Senior Data Engineer

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of time-series databases
• Experience in implementing data pipelines, preferably sourced from major financial market data vendors
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins/TeamCity, monitoring, testing, and agile practices
• Passionate about maintaining high code quality, ensuring data integrity, and constructing scalable solutions
• Proficiency in working with Python, Snowflake, and dbt for managing datasets

Responsibilities

• Extend Python libraries to facilitate unified access to the entire data catalogue
• Provide support for Java live data feedhandlers
• Migrate legacy MATLAB systems to our modern technology stack
